About noon on September 11, 1992. That's me screaming in fear as the storm approaches. The major part of Iniki began about 1 pm. The storm ended about 7 pm.
Again, about noon. Winds far out at sea kicking up a huge surf on Kauai's east side.
The storm approached Kauai from the south. The sky begins to turn dark and ominous as Iniki gets even closer. It will be time to get indoors soon.
