Costner on the set of Dragonfly

The entire village has been recreated. Much of the film was made in this village.

Some of the 110 villagers flown in from Venezuela. Besides receiving generous pay, many Kauai residents donated clothing for them to take back to their village after filming wrapped.

Tons and tons of gear being unloaded.

Fake waterfalls (marked in red) being constructed at the Blue Hole riverbed. As filming at this location began, a storm hit Kauai and flooding destroyed the set.

Recreation of a Venezuelan Indian hut on the set.

Just a few of the Indians flown in from Venezuela to make the film as authentic as possible.

Snack shack hidden in the jungle for the cast and crew.

Helicopter with camera pod on front.

Water running over the fake falls seen in the photo to the left.
